Accounts of Visually Challenged Persons


IDBI Bank provides all banking facilities such as cheque book facility including third party cheques, ATM facility, Net Banking facility, locker facility, retail loans, credit cards etc., to the visually challenged persons without any discrimination in terms of the guidelines issued by the RBI. Considering each case on its merits, the bank may consider permitting next of kin of a visually impaired customer to operate his account as a representative of the visually impaired person by taking letter of authority and an undertaking.
