Rights of Banks Customers

“Banking Codes and Standards Board of India (BCSBI) has been making efforts in the area of fair treatment of customers by banks through various Customer Awareness Programmes. In order to further enhance customer awareness of their rights, particularly among hitherto marginalized customers who have been brought into the financial system by opening of Basic Savings Bank Deposit Accounts and Jan Dhan Yojana Accounts, BCSBI has published a simple pictorial presentation of basic customer rights in the form of a booklet. The booklet is available below in various languages.”
