Shri M.R. Kumar
Shri M.R. Kumar took charge as Chairman, LIC of India on 14th March, 2019. He joined LIC of India in 1983 as a Direct Recruit Officer. In a career spanning more than three and a half decades, he has headed three Zones of LIC of India, viz, Southern Zone, North Central Zone and Northern Zone, head quartered at Chennai, Kanpur and Delhi, respectively. As an Executive Director he headed the Personnel Department as well as the Pension and Group Insurance vertical of the Corporation.
Shri Rakesh Sharma
Shri Rakesh Sharma is a seasoned banker with a total stint of over 33 years in State Bank of India (SBI) in various positions. He then moved to Lakshmi Vilas Bank Ltd. as MD & CEO and served there for a period of 18 months. He retired from Canara Bank as MD & CEO after serving for a period of 3 years, in July 2018. He has expertise in Accountancy, Agriculture & Rural Economy, Banking, Economics, Small Scale Industry, HR and Business Management.
Shri Samuel Joseph Jebaraj
Shri Samuel Joseph joined Exim Bank in 1998. He headed the Loan Administration and Human Resources Management Groups of the Bank, Corporate Banking, SME, Treasury, Accounts and Information Technology Groups at the Head Office of Exim Bank. Shri Samuel served in the Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Milan and London Offices of Exim Bank in various capacities. He has over 25 years of professional experience in international trade and investment finance, project finance, structured lending, liability side management, including Treasury and raising of resources. He has expertise in Accountancy, Banking, Business Management, HR, Finance, Information Technology and Sales.
Shri Suresh Kishinchand Khatanhar
Shri Suresh Khatanhar has diversified banking experience with 13 years at Dena Bank, a Public Sector Bank, 8 years at erstwhile IDBI Bank (a private bank which was amalgamated with IDBI) and 14 years at IDBI Bank before his appointment as DMD in IDBI Bank. He has exposure in Retail Banking business, Priority Sector Lending, Corporate Banking (Mid Corporate & Large Corporate), service oriented functions such as Trade Finance and cross selling of various Treasury products. He has expertise in Accountancy, Banking and Risk.
Ms. Meera Swarup
Ms. Meera Swarup joined the Indian Audit and Accounts Service in the year 1988. She is presently working as Additional Secretary & Financial Adviser (Finance) in the Ministry of Finance, Government of India. She also held the position of Director General (P&T Audit) and Director General (Hqrs.) in the Office of C&AG of India. She has worked as Principal Accountant General and Accountant General in the States of Gujarat, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. She was posted as Director of External Audit at Geneva, responsible for external audit of WHO, WIPO and IOM during 2010 to 2012. She has expertise in Accountancy.
Shri Anshuman Sharma
Shri Anshuman Sharma is an accomplished IRS officer & has held positions in Tax Assessment, Investigation, Administration and Transfer Pricing. Currently he is posted as Director in Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance looking after portfolio of Insurance & Pension Reforms. He has years of experience in areas of Institutional Finance, Policy Development Work in Infrastructure Finance, Export Finance, Asset Reconstruction etc. He has led Indian delegation to China and Romania in International Working Group on Export Credit formed to frame guidelines on medium and long-term export financing. Armed with course on Leadership of Banks & Financial Institutions from IIM, Ahmedabad, he has served on the board of State Bank of Travancore, Allahabad Bank, IFCI Ltd and India Post Payments Bank (IPPB). He is currently on the Board of IDFC Ltd.
Shri Rajesh Kandwal
Shri Rajesh Kandwal had joined LIC as Direct Recruit Officer in 1981 and during his career of over 37 years in LIC, he had been in operations, particularly Marketing. He has been instrumental for opening Representative Office of LIC at Singapore. He has rich experience of heading Corporate Communication / International Operations, Bancassurance and Estate at the Corporate Level. He has expertise in Accountancy, Finance, HR, Risk and Business Management.
Shri Gyan Prakash Joshi
Shri Gyan Prakash Joshi, is an ex-IAS Officer. During his tenure as IAS Officer, he was posted in the states of Gujarat and Manipur as well as Government of India. He holds wide experience in the management of public sector enterprises (PSEs) having spent about ten years in various capacities in select PSEs of Gujarat. Shri Joshi took voluntary retirement from active Govt. service in December 2008 and is, at present, engaged in supporting education and nutrition in rural areas of Ramgarh, Uttarakhand, through a voluntary agency named KAFAL. He has expertise in Agriculture & Economy, Finance, Small Scale Industry, Risk, Administration and Corporate Governance.

Joshi is a career Banker with around 36 years of experience in Bank of India in various fields like Branch Banking, Corporate Credit, Foreign Exchange, Overseas Operations, Compliance, SME Banking, Retail Banking including overseas banking experience in Africa and USA. As Executive Director of Bank of Baroda, he was on its Board and Board Level Committees. He has expertise in Agriculture & Economy, Banking, Finance and Small Scale Industry.

He has expertise in the areas of Accountancy, Agriculture & Economy, Finance, IT and Business Management.
Shri N. Jambunathan
Shri Jambunathan is a career banker with rich experience at different levels in State Bank of India. He worked on different positions in the Bank in computer related Departments/ IT including as CGM-IT. He also held important assignments in Retail Banking and Payments business. He retired from State Bank as its Dy. Managing Director. He has worked as Advisor / Mentor with Reliance Payments Systems Ltd. for two years in respect of their payments related initiatives which included setting up of a Joint Venture bank with SBI. He has the expertise in Agriculture & Economy, Banking, Small Scale Industry, IT, Payment & Settlement, Administration and Corporate Governance.

Shri Sanjay Gokuldas Kallapur
Shri Kallapur is Professor of Accounting and Deputy Dean at the Indian School of Business. Prior to joining ISB, he was a tenured Associate Professor at the Krannert School of Management, Purdue University, USA. He has thirty years' of experience in teaching at the Bachelor's, Master's and PhD levels. In addition to ISB and Purdue, he has also taught at the University of Arizona, University of California at Irvine, the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology and National University of Singapore. He has expertise in Accountancy, Finance, Economics, Risk and Corporate Governance.
Smt. P V Bharathi
Ms. Bharathi is a seasoned banker with over 37 years of varied experience in banking operations. She retired as Managing Director and CEO of Corporation Bank on March 31, 2020. During her tenure with Corporation Bank from February 01, 2019, she provided strong leadership to the Bank and put the Bank on a growth path through various strategic initiatives. Having joined Canara Bank in 1982, she served in various capacities in Branches & Administrative Offices of the Bank as well as in Hong Kong office of the Bank and rose upto the position of Executive Director (WTD) there.
