Go Green! You can now generate PIN for your IDBI Bank debit cum ATM card without visiting the branch or waiting for it to arrive on your address. We've made PIN generation for our customers as convenient as it could get.

You may choose any of the following modes to generate your PIN instantly:

Please note: Joint account holders using an add-on debit card with mobile number in bank records can generate ATM PIN through IDBI Bank ATM, SMS & Missed Call only.

Option 1 Through Phone Banking

Step 1: Keep your Customer ID and 16-digit Debit cum ATM Card number handy.

Step 2: Dial any of our toll free phone banking numbers 1800-209-4324 or 1800-22-1070 and if overseas call +91-22-67719100(call charges applicable).

Step 3: Select your preferred language and in the main menu choose the option "generate ATM PIN "

Step 4: Follow the instructions of the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) and create a 4-digit ATM PIN of your choice.

Step 5: Use your debit card with the newly created PIN at any ATM or Point of Sale terminal to activate it.


Option 2) Through IDBI Bank ATM

Step 1: Dip your Debit Card in the card slot of the ATM

Step 2: Select the language and choose GENERATE ATM PIN option

Step 3: Click on GENERATE OTP to receive OTP & request ID on your registered Mobile number

Step 4: Insert your debit card once more and again select GENERATE ATM PIN option

Step 5: Now select VALIDATE OTP and enter the Request ID & OTP received on your registered Mobile Number

Step 6: Enter 4 digits of your choice & re-enter the same to set it as your new ATM PIN


Option 3) Through Internet Banking

Step 1: Log into your internet banking account and go to CARDS tab.

Step 2: Click on GENERATE INSTANT ATM PIN

Step 3: Select the Debit Card Number, reason for PIN generation and then Click on 'Generate OTP'

Step 4: Enter the OTP received on your registered Mobile Number.

Step 5: Set a PIN of your choice and enter Transaction Password to confirm.

Step 6: Use your Debit cum ATM card with the new PIN set by you at any Bank ATM/POS machine to activate it.


Option 4)through Go mobile+ app

Step 1: Log into IDBI Bank Go mobile+ app with your MPIN

Step 2: Click on "Debit Card" on the home screen

Step 3: Select "Debit Card PIN generation"

Step 4: From the drop down choose the debit card for which PIN has to be generated, input Remarks and confirm

Step 5: Enter the OTP sent on your regd. Mobile number and create a PIN of your choice.


Option 5) Through Missed Call

Step 1: Give a missed call to our Toll-free number 18008431144 from the mobile number registered with the Bank

Step 2: You will receive OTP & request ID on your registered Mobile number. OTP will be valid only for 30 minutes.

Step 3: Please go to the nearest IDBI Bank ATM, insert your Debit Card and select "Generate ATM PIN"

Step 4: Select Validate OTP and enter the OTP & Request ID received on your registered Mobile Number

Step 5: Create a new PIN of your choice & confirm

The PIN will be activated instantly.


Option 6) Through SMS

Step 1: Type GREENPIN Last 6 digits of your Debit Card in the textbox and send it to 9820346920 OR 9821043718 from the mobile number registered with the Bank

Step 2: You will receive OTP & request ID on your registered Mobile number. OTP will be valid only for 30 minutes.

Step 3: Visit the nearest IDBI Bank ATM ,insert your Debit Card and select "Generate ATM PIN"

Step 4: Select Validate OTP and enter the OTP & Request ID received on your registered Mobile Number

Step 5: Create a new PIN of your choice and confirm

The PIN will be activated instantly.

Your IDBI Bank Debit cum ATM card gives you the convenience and comfort whether you want to pay bills or shop online. To get started, you may do the following:

Step 1: Ensure that your IDBI Bank debit card is active - use it on any POS (swipe for purchase) or ATM (balance enquiry or withdrawal) with your PIN.

*Your mobile number must be registered in bank records.

Step 2: To register your Visa or Master debit card for online payments, simply click here

Step 3: Enter your 16-digit card number, expiry date & PIN to create a verified by Visa or Mastercard 3D secure password.

Please note: For Rupay debit cards, no separate registration is required. You can register your Rupay debit card for Paysecure service while making an online payment itself.

Once the debit card is registered successfully, you may use it for any kind of online transaction by choosing “Debit Card” in the payment options list

It is important to report loss of IDBI Bank Debit cum ATM card or any other Card like Cash Card, World Currency Card or Gift Card so that it can be hotlisted/cancelled/blocked in order to prevent misuse.

In case you feel that your banking credentials have been compromised or unauthorized/fraudulent transactions are taking place in your account through any of the channels viz. debit card, UPI, internet or mobile banking, please report it to us immediately.

  • Call our digital channel blocking hotline 1800226999 (toll free) or phone banking numbers 18002094324 & +9122-67719100 (chargeable). The phone banking representative will block the channel as per your request.
  • You can also give a request for blocking of any digital channel & report the unauthorized transaction through our website www.idbibank.in >> reporting of unauthorized digital transactions or click here

You can hotlist/block your debit card through the following channels also:

1. Send SMS: >> BLOCK < Customer ID > to 5676777
Eg: BLOCK 12345678 to 5676777.

2. Internet Banking

Step 1: Log into Internet Banking. Click on 'Cards' and select "Debit Card Hotlisting"

Step 2: Select the Debit Card Number, reason for hot listing and input remarks, if any. Click on 'Submit'.

Step 3: Enter Transaction Password to confirm.

3. IDBI Bank Abhay Card Control App (for Android & IOS devices)

Step 1: Register the app (if not already done) in a few simple steps

Step 2: Click on 'Card Hotlisting"

Step 3: Select 'Yes' to confirm.

Go mobile+ app:

Step 1: Log onto IDBI Bank Go mobile+app

Step 2: Click on Cards

Step 3: Select Debit Card Hotlisting

Step 4: Choose the card no. from the drop down, enter Remarks and click Confirm

Step 5: Enter OTP and block your debit card.

To block mobile banking service on your account send sms

MBBLCK <Space> <Customer IdCustomer1> to 9560853000

In case you have lost your mobile phone device, kindly contact your telecom service provider and block your SIM immediately.

sometimes, while transacting online with your debit card, you may get an error "your card is blocked, please contact the card issuing bank". This may be because you might have entered incorrect PIN, password or OTP.
To get your IDBI Bank debit card (Master or Visa or Rupay) unblocked for online transactions, you have the following options:

Option 1: through phone banking

Step 1: Call on 1800-209-4324or 1800-22-1070 (toll free) or +912267719100(chargeable) from your registered mobile number

Step 2: Go to "Banking Accounts" from the main menu

Step 3: Select authentication type Customer ID +TPIN or Debit Card Number + ATM PIN

Step 4: After authentication, choose the option for "Unblocking debit card for online payments"

Step 5: Our phone banking executive will take your request for unblocking the debit card for online payments.

Your debit card will be unblocked within 4 - 6 working hours.

Option 2: through internet banking

Step 1: Log into your internet banking account

Step 2: Click on "MAILS" tab on the homepage

Step 3: Provide the debit card number which is blocked in the message and click "SEND"

Option 3: through branch

Visit your nearest IDBI Bank branch and submit a written request for unblocking of your debit card.

Please note: even if your debit card is blocked for online transactions, you will be able to withdraw cash or swipe it at POS terminal for purchases.

Transactions carried out using digital banking channels may fail due to various reasons. Sometimes, the amount is automatically reversed to your account. In case the amount does not get reversed, please follow the process given below for different payment modes.

Debit Cards:

Step 1: If you happen to make a payment through your IDBI Bank debit cum ATM card on any website or swiped the card on a merchant terminal and the transaction is declined or failed, yet the amount is deducted from your account, please note that as per existing process, the amount gets automatically reversed within 10 working days from the date of transaction if the merchant does not claim it.

Step 2: In case after 10 working days also the amount is not reversed to your account, kindly write to us on customercare@idbi.co.in with correct details of the transaction viz. date, merchant name, amount, payment reference id, copy of void slip, proof of payment made via other modes, etc.

Please note: You may also visit your nearest IDBI Bank branch and submit a written application to initiate chargeback for the failed transaction.

Internet or Mobile Banking

Step 1: In case of failed or unsuccessful transactions carried out through IDBI Bank internet or mobile banking facility viz. bill payments, fund transfer, mobile or DTH recharge, etc., the amount automatically gets reversed to your account in 72 working hours or 3 working days.

Step 2: if the amount does not reflect in your account after expiry of this timeline, please register a case by calling our phone banking on 1800-209-4324or 1800-22-1070 (toll free) if overseas call 0091-2267719100(call charges apply). You can also write to us at customercare@idbi.co.in

IMPS/UPI

transactions like IMPS (Immediate Payment Service) carried out through internet & mobile banking, USSD or UPI apps are facilitated by National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI).

In case any of your IMPS/UPI payments have failed, please do the following:

Step 1:For IMPS payment through internet banking, check the status of the transaction and the remarks given there.

step 2: As per existing process, settlement of IMPS/UPI transactions happens in 2 working days. Request you to wait for this period to expire.

step 3: if you are the sender of funds, please check with the beneficiary for the receipt of amount in his bank account.

Step 4: if the amount has not automatically reversed to your account, the beneficiary has to take up the matter with his/her bank with the Retrieval Reference Number (RRN).

Step 5: If you are the receiver of funds from other bank and amount does not get credited to your IDBI Bank account or is not reversed to remitter bank even after 2 working days, please lodge a case with our phone banking on 1800-209-4324or 1800-22-1070 or write to us at customercare@idbi.co.in

4. Payments made through third party UPI apps (Google Pay, BHIM, Paytm, Phone pe,  etc) from IDBI Bank account:

If a transaction performed through third party UPI apps linked to your IDBI Bank account fails, please lodge a dispute from the grievance redressal mechanism provided within the app.

As part of IDBI Bank green initiatives, issuance of physical hard copy account statements has been discontinued for Retail Savings & Current Accounts. There are a host of other options to get your account statement, at no extra cost, at your convenience!

Option 1: Monthly statement on email

Step 1: Register your account for free monthly statements by email:  Submit a request in the nearest IDBI Bank branch to update your Email ID in our records. Alternatively, you may call our phone banking numbers from your registered mobile number, authenticate yourself with Customer ID + TPIN or Card number + PIN and place a request with our executive for updation of email id in your account.

Step 2: You shall receive your bank account statement in your inbox next month onwards.

Option 2: through Internet Banking.

Step 1: Log into your internet banking account and click on ACCOUNTS tab

Step 2: In the drop down on right hand side of the page, select OPERATIVE ACCOUNT STATEMENT & click on GO

Step 3: Enter the period of statement, type of transactions, etc

Step 4: In the drop down, select the format of the statement i.e. Display on screen, Excel, PDF, etc. Click on STATEMENT button.

Step 5: the transactions will be displayed on screen. Scroll to the bottom of the page & click on SAVE to save the statement in your system in the desired format.

Option 3: IDBI Bank m-Passbook app (for Android & IOS devices)

Step 1: Download IDBI Bank m-Passbook from the app store of your device.

Step 2: Register for the app with your Customer ID & mobile number

Step 3: Log into the app with your IDBI Bank m-Passbook PIN

Step 4: You can view transactions of all the accounts under your Customer ID

Step 5: Select the account & the period of statement. Fetch a PDF & use it as per your convenience.

Option 4: through Go mobile+app

Step 1: Log into the app

Step 2: Go to REQUESTS tab

Step 3: Click on "Statement by email"

Step 4: Enter the period for which you require the statement and confirm

Step 5:the statement will be sent to your registered email id within 24 hours

Option 5: through phone banking

You can also place a request for a statement of your account by speaking to a phone banking executive. However, the statement shall be delivered to your Email ID in 48 working hours and will be chargeable as per account specific Schedule of Charges.

It is a good practice to keep personal information up to date in your bank account and also advisable that the correct mobile number, email id, correspondence address are always updated.

You can opt for the following modes to update personal information in your account.

Option 1: through branch
Visit any nearest IDBI Bank branch and submit the duly filled Miscellaneous Request Form for updation of your mobile number, email id, PAN or correspondence address.
Please carry the following proofs along with you for verification purpose:
Updation of mobile number: Latest mobile bill in case of post paid connection or copy of identity proof if prepaid mobile
PAN updation: photocopy of PAN card
Address updation: Valid proof of address as per KYC norms advised from time to time

Option 2:
For updating Email ID in your bank account, call our phone banking 18002094324 or 022-67719100 from your registered mobile number
Go to the "Banking Accounts" menu and authenticate using Customer ID + TPIN or Debit Card + ATM PIN
Speak to a phone banking executive who will raise a request for updation of email id

Option 3:
For updating Permanent Account Number (PAN) in your account, call us on 18002094324 or 022-67719100 from your mobile number registered in bank records.
Speak to a phone banking representative who shall verify your PAN from the database and raise a request if PAN is valid

Set your debit card limits, Generate ATM PIN instantly, Switch your card on or off, Book FD or RD, Place request for account statement, Download TDS certificate besides Bill payments, Recharges, Fund Transfer, IMPS, etc.
And do not forget to take a selfie and set it as your profile picture!
Just follow the below steps and start banking anytime, anywhere!:
Instantly register for mobile banking service by sending this sms from your mobile number in bank records

MBREG <Space> <Customer Id> to 9560853000

Step 1: Go to the app store in your phone Android 4.0 & above or IOS 8.0 & above

Step 2: Search for IDBI Bank Go Mobile + app and download it on the phone

Step 3: Open the app and enter your Customer ID & a 4-digit MPIN of your choice

Step 4: A verification sms will be sent automatically. Please ensure to select the mobile number registered in bank records as the primary number.

Step 5: After you get a notification that the mobile number is verified, click on "ACTIVATE APP" button on the log in screen

Step 6: You can activate the app using either debit card credentials ,your internet banking passwords or OTP access

Step 7: After successful activation, you can log in to IDBI Bank Go Mobile + app with the MPIN set by you in Step 3.

Please note: If you activate the app with OTP access, you will be able to perform only non-financial transactions like a/c statement request, TDS certificate, cheque book request, etc. For financial transactions like Fund Transfer or Bill Payment, kindly activate the app using debit card or internet banking credentials.

Option 1: through the website.

Step 1: Visit www.idbibank.in and go to Hassle Free Loans

Step 2: Fill in all the (*) marked fields viz. Customer ID, Loan Account Number, Date of Birth as in bank records and Permanent Account Number (PAN)

Step 3: Select your requirement - statement/provisional or final certificate

Step 4: Your loan account statement for the current financial year will be sent to your registered email id.

Step 5: Provisional or Final Certificate can be downloaded and saved in your system. Check the options displayed on the screen.

Option 2:through internet banking

Step 1: Log into your internet banking and click on ALL ACCOUNTS

Step 2: Under 'Account Services', select Account Statement

Step 3: Input the period of statement, choose the format from the drop down and submit.

Option 3: through email channel

Step 1: Ensure that you have your email id registered in bank records. Alternatively you may write to us from internet banking mailbox.

Step 2: Write to customercare@idbi.co.in from your registered email id with your loan account number and the document required.

Step 3: You shall receive a reply with an attachment of the requested document.

Retail Banking customers can create their own passwords for internet banking, set access rights and increase or decrease their transaction limits online if they have a valid and active IDBI Bank Debit Card linked to their account.

Please follow the below steps for registration:

Step 1: Download the Channel Registration Form (CRF) from here

Step 2:In the form, select the service you want to activate

Step 3: The CRF should be duly filled and signed by all Account Holder/s.

Step 4: Submit the duly filled Form at the nearest Branch.

A confirmation SMS message will be sent indicating status of registration. To confirm the status, you can also call our phone banking numbers.

Once registered, you are ready to operate your account through internet banking.

Step 1: on the home page of www.idbibank.in, click on "Set Internet/Mobile Banking passwords"

Step 2: Follow the process screen by screen and create your log in & transaction passwords.

Step 3: Set your access rights to "View only" or "Enable transaction facility" as per choice

Step 4: Set your transaction limit for internet banking. The default limit is Rs. 1,00,000 (Rs. 50,000 for interbank + Rs. 50,000 within bank)

IDBI Bank provides you with multiple channels to verify your Aadhaar number to your existing account(s). You may choose from any one of the following options:

Option 1: through our website

Step 1: Visit www.idbibank.in and click on "Aadhaar verification"

Step 2: Enter your Customer ID and 12-digit Aadhaar number

Step 3: Enter the OTP sent by UIDAI on the mobile number updated in your Aadhaar

Step 4: Submit the information

Step 5: in 3-5 working days, you shall receive an sms informing you of acceptance or rejection of your Aadhaar verification request.

Option 2: through self service on phone banking IVR:

Step 1: Dial toll free numbers 1800-209-4324or 1800-22-1070 & select your preferred language

Step 2: in the main menu, go to "Banking Accounts"

Step 3: Choose your action "Aadhaar Verification" or Aadhaar Seeding"

Step 4: Follow the IVR voice and enter the Customer ID and Aadhaar number when prompted

Step 4: Enter the OTP received on the mobile number registered in your Aadhaar

Step 5: if all the details match as mandated by UIDAI, your account will be authenticated with Aadhaar instantly

If you are unable to verify your Aadhaar with any of the above options, please visit the nearest IDBI Bank branch to carry out biometric e-KYC.

Please note that Aadhaar verification and Aadhaar seeding are different. While Aadhaar verification is carried out for all accounts you hold in the bank, Aadhaar seeding can be done only with one single savings account pan India.

Aadhaar seeding is beneficial for receiving Direct Benefit Transfers like govt. subsidies and for using Aadhaar Payment Bridge System (APBS).

If you wish to seed or link any of your IDBI Bank savings accounts with your Aadhaar number, the following options are available:

  • I-net Banking: Log into your internet banking account, click on "REQUESTS" tab and then on "Aadhaar linking request"
  • Phone Banking: Dial our phone banking numbers 18002094324or 1800221070, go to Banking Accounts, select Aadhar Linking and then opt for Aadhaar seeding .
  • Go mobile+ app: You can also submit a request to seed your bank account with Aadhaar number through the "Requests" tab in IDBI Bank Go mobile+ app for Android & IOS devices

ATM: You may visit any IDBI Bank ATM, insert your debit card, enter your PIN and select "OTHERS"

IDBI Bank offers its existing account holders the convenience of placing a request for debit card from the convenience of their home or office.

To request for a debit card, you can opt for the following modes:

Option 1: through phone banking
Step 1: If your debit card is lost or stolen or misplaced, call our phone banking on 18002094324 or +91-22-67719100 from your mobile number registered in bank records.
Step 2: Block your debit card immediately
Step 3: A phone banking representative will verify your account & correspondence address for delivery of debit card
Step 4: If all the details match, the representative shall input your request for replacement debit card
Step 5: You will be charged for the debit card as per the Schedule of Charges of your account.

You can also call us within 7 days of blocking the debit card in case you are not able to place a request on the same call.

Option 2: through internet banking
Step 1: Log into (your internet banking account and click on "Cards"
Step 2: Go to "Debit card hotlisting" and block your debit card with appropriate reason from the drop down
Step 3: Once the existing debit card is hot listed, go to the "Cards" tab again and click on Apply for "Replacement debit card"
Step 4:Fill the details and Confirm the request
Step 5: You will be charged for the debit card as per the Schedule of Charges of your account.

Please ensure that correct correspondence address is updated in bank records for hassle free delivery of the debit card.
